I have a blog at the place I work, internal to the company, which I post on occasionally. Well, a few days ago I made a somewhat bold post that caused some talk and got the attention of senior management.

I became worried about it yesterday when I realized that I might have made an imprudent move in making this post, but fortunately today I received word that although the post was controversial, it was considered constructive and was actually well-received. Still, I have learned a lesson here, and that is to first voice your concerns up the regular chain-of-command before broadcasting a blog post that the entire department can read.
