Today after Mass I spent some time with (Big) Jeff driving around town. When I dropped him off at his home, I went inside briefly, and his daughter Jane (who is 3 years old) handed me a picture.
 

 
Then she proudly announced to me, “It’s a cockroach!”.
 
I thought little girls drew things like hearts and flowers and stick-figure families, but I guess I was wrong!
 
So I asked, “Can I keep it?”
Jane: “You want it?”
Me: “Yeah!”
Jane: “Okie you can have it”
 
It is now the latest addition to my photo album.
