“…the years passed by and now they had 10 daughters…”
–modified from Paula Cole’s “I Don’t Want To Wait” where she says “the years passed by and now they had granddaughters”
Â
I modified the lyrics above because the song jumps too quickly from this couple only having two children to them having grandchildren, and it has led me to dream of what it would be like to have 10 daughters–10 little princesses whom I would rear with Katie to be princesses of Heaven.
Â
At one point in time in my life, I would have laughed loudly if you told me I would one day like to have so many children, let alone daughters, but times have changed.
Now I wonder to myself, “Why wouldn’t I want to have 10 little princesses?”.
Â
Do I have any idea how much work that would involve and money and responsibility? No.
Do I have any idea how much love, joy, beauty, tenderness, and crowning glory being the holy father of 10 princesses would bring? No, but I can begin to imagine.
Â
If God gave the Garcia-Prats 10 sons, why not us 10 daughters?

Wow, I’d never thought of having a family full of girls. I always thought I’d have a bunch of boys like the Garcia-Prats or some other family friends with 7 boys. But God apparently is trusting us to raise little princesses so far, and let me tell you it is SO much fun!
Blessings,
Blair, who recently started a blog where you can see the princesses:

I just checked out your blog, Blair–that is so cool! I look forward to reading it often.
