Our garden is growing! Here is the row of spinach plants:
All five types of plant have now broken the soil surface, and we are having to thin them because we I planted multiple seeds per hole, not believing that almost every seed would sprout.
We also finished the lion’s share of front yard tilling today. Here was what it looked like early today:
Katie and I went on a rampage and tilled up all the rest of the ground inside the far arc. We worked through the on-and-off rain and drizzle, garnering a compliment from our neighbors who faithfully walk their dogs everyday.
Now comes the fun part: Going to the store and buying a bunch of pretty (but tough) flowers and planting them all.
