Pointe One-Seven Acres. Doesn’t that sound hoity-toity? It’s the glorified name for our Rose estate, which is exactly .17 acres.
We hosted five young homeschoolers in our backyard barnyard last Friday, where they learned about gathering freshly lain chicken eggs, feeding said chickens, petting said chickens, watering the garden, and the wearing of beekeeping gear. They ate many freshly-baked molasses cookies and were sent home over-tired and wired with sugar (it’s organic, mind you).
Devin’s going to scan the lovely thank-you cards the little homeschoolers crafted and post them on the blog.
(Devin here: I thought I loved our chickens and bees, but these dear children really love them!):

Haha … they are cute!
