Planned Parenthood’s Racist Origins Remain And Are Exposed

I could hardly watch this video containing audio conversations of Planned Parenthood employees, including a director of development, talking to people saying they wanted to fund abortions only for Black people to diminish the Black population, and the Planned Parenthood director agreeing happily! It is unconscionable. It is as bad as the videos of hundreds of Planned Parenthood workers happily being willing to cover up statutory rapes of 13 year old girls.

This organization is the same one that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton received money from and were honored by at the Planned Parenthood conference. How can Barack Obama support an organization that specifically targets and accepts money for aborting Black people, those of his own race?
Hat tip to the American Papist.

Katie and Devin (and all other prayer warriors). I was contacted by someone in my past whom I hoped I had severed all contact with. I am placing this request under this post as Planned Parenthood was part of this past. I do not know how my email was found, but it was nonetheless and I am a bit concerned. Please pray that Our Lady’s mantle will protect me.

God bless you and protect you, Amy!

This video is quite stark and startling, and I’m familiar with the racist origins of Planned Parenthood (ie. Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood–”Let us not let it be known that we wish to exterminate the Negros.”)

However, I think this video is a little unfair to the Planned Parenthood development director who said she was “excited” about this donation. From the video, it sounded to me like she was fumbling for words and trying to be politic. I doubt she, a product of our generation, agrees that Black babies should be targeted so as to level the college admissions playing field.

I say this because I think it’s important to not demonize people on both sides of the respect life issue. As St. Thomas Aquinas points out, people always choose what they perceive as good, even if they are looking for happiness in the wrong place.

I agree with you, Katie. The video goes over-the-top with the development director saying she was “excited” to receive the donation and also with the caller saying he wanted his children to not have Black children to compete with for college.

It would have been sufficient I think just to say what he did at first: “I want my donation to go directly to abort Black babies,” which Planned Parenthood is happy to accept, and that shows racism just as well.
