While on a trip to Walgreen’s to buy medicine for my ailing family, I turned on the radio, and there was a call-in contest if you could answer some trivia questions. Two people were competing, a man and a woman, and the question was: “What sport does Mia Hamm play?”
The man guessed first: “Tennis.”
Radio DJ: “Sorry, that’s not correct.”
Then the woman: “Golf?”
Radio DJ: “No, she actually plays soccer.”
So there you have it: Mia Hamm, a person whom I will never be as famous nor as well-known as, and two random people who call into a radio show cannot even name what sport she plays. They aren’t familiar with her at all. Better live for that reward that Jesus has waiting for you in Heaven!
