The past few days have been…full.
We brought Edmund home the day before yesterday; the other children were a bit bewildered and unsure about everything, since we had been gone for about three days, and we had only seen them a few times during that span, but they have been handling the new situation well.
Edmund got home and was very fussy–all the time. We could tell he was in pain, and today, thankfully, we figured out what was going on and tried out several remedies, which as of this afternoon have been working, so Edmund is doing much better and mama and papa are doing much, much better. Katie can elaborate more later if she wants to.
Thank you for your prayers; God has continued answering them, giving us what we need if not always what we think we need. At one point last night while holding a very upset Edmund, I said to God, “Could you have cut us just a little break here with a peaceful baby?” But already today things have started improving so significantly that I am probably going to have to eat my words.
Happy Epiphany!

Welcome home! Y’all have been through much, and these first couple weeks were the hardest with Nate. We’ll offer up some special prayers for the family!!
